DAY 63: Cherry Lane Advisory Board Member Carolyn Rossi Copeland
Carolyn has been producing professionally since 1979 when she founded The Lamb Theatre Company and started bringing great artists in great works (Marian Seldes and Elizabeth McGovern in Tina Howe's PAINTING CHURCHES, Jean Stapleton in Horton Foote's THE ROADS TO HOME, Jill Eikenberry in PORCHES to name a few) together on not one, but TWO stages in Times Square... becoming so successful she was recruited by Madison Square Garden/Radio City Entertainment to work on amazing projects like THE SCARLET PIMPERNEL and THE WIZARD OF OZ along with creating a dance program to help develop the next generation of ROCKETTES. What's left after Madison Square Garden? Starting your own production company... now the exec. producer of CRC Productions, Carolyn's bringing shows like ANNIE, AMAZING GRACE, and FREUD'S LAST SESSION, starring Judd Hirsch, into the world... and we are beyond grateful she has included us in hers.
Find out which famous musical got its start right here at CLT (now a revival on Broadway - with Carolyn as one of the producers) in her video below.
