I Lost You There explores how death is viewed and experienced through different occupations, personal attitudes and cultural norms. Through her unique brand of witty pathos, Bahr brings to life touching and hilarious characters whose lives interconnect in surprising ways, shining the light on the one aspect of our existence that we all have in common.

Iris Bahr is an award-winning writer, actor, director and producer.  Her critically-acclaimed solo show, DAI (enough), had an extended hit run Off-Broadway, and won the prestigious Lucille Lortel Award for Best Solo Performance, as well as two Drama Desk and UK Stage Award nominations. She has performed DAI around the world, including at the United Nations for over 100 ambassadors and delegates. Her first solo show, Planet America, received an LA Weekly nomination for Outstanding Solo Show and is currently in development as a feature film. 

As a stand up comic, Ms. Bahr has performed both in the US and abroad and was chosen as one of the New Faces at the Montreal Just for Laughs Comedy Festival. She continues to perform regularly in NYC.

Iris has written two humorous memoirs, Dork Whore (Bloomsbury) which was also a bestseller in Europe and its sequel Macchu My Picchu (Skirt). Her books have been translated into German, Portuguese and Italian. She is currently writing a  book with the comedian JB Smoove, based on his character Leon fromCurb Your Enthusiasm

Having appeared on numerous TV shows, Ms. Bahr is best known for her TV series Svetlana, which she also wrote, directed and executive produced for Mark Cuban's Hdnet, and her recurring role on Curb Your Enthusiasm, where she plays the Orthodox Jewish Girl that gets stuck on a ski-lift with Larry David. She recently recurred on The Brink (HBO), and just filmed Blunt Talk with Patrick Stewart. (Full list of TV and film credits available on imdb.com).
