About The Production:
The World's Stage Theatre Company Presents
WAITING... A SONG CYCLE
Music and Lyrics by Bob Kelly and Kelly Pomeroy

A new musical about relationships found, relationships lost... what are they waiting for?
Waiting..., a new song cycle written by Bob Kelly and Kelly Pomeroy, follows nine individuals as love is found and lost. The show is told through a series of musical vignettes: an upcoming wedding, flirtation at the workplace, a high school dance, a simple dinner date. Each story is different, but each person must make a decision– to go after what they want, or to just keep waiting.

NYC Premiere OFF-Broadway. Limited Run.

Originally Premiered at the Tenth Street Theatre, Milwaukee WI

“The show briskly cascades through the aspirations and perspirations of people dealing with life out of synch with their passions… The World's Stage ensemble manages some heartfelt performances…” – Russ Bickerstaff, Express Milwaukee

“With outstanding performances and radio-ready hits, The World's Stage Theatre Company's production of Waiting. . . A Song Cycle soars high.” – Third Coast Daily Online Facebook

“…then there’s the show’s music, a score music director Colleen Schmidt described in an interview earlier this week as ‘a little bit Ben Folds, a little bit Jason Robert Brown.’ It’s a comparison that pretty much checks.” – Matthew Reddin, Third Coast Daily
