AFTER PARADISE is a two-act monoplay combining two texts written ten years apart.
The first piece, 3 Weeks after Paradise, was written in 2001 shortly after the attacks on
the Twin Towers and details the experience of the playwright’s family in downtown New
York on that morning and in the immediate aftermath. The play was filmed in 2002 and
aired repeatedly on the Bravo network, winning several awards. The second piece, 10
Years after Paradise, was written during the past year and centers on the effects of 9/11
on the world today.
