Special performance of Zany Danes with book and lyrics by James Evans and Francis Heaney, directed by James Evans; featuring Brantley Aufill, Tom Bartos, Sam Cohen, Tate Henderson, Vanessa Longley-Cook, Jason St. Sauver, Alexander Valven.

Benefit performance of Eduardo Machado's Havana Is Waiting, directed by Michael John Garces and with Bruce MacVittie, Ed Vassallo, Felix Solis, and Richard Marquez on percussion. Reception and dinner followed at Grove Restaurant.

A post-performance discussion with playwright and Mentor Project 2003 alum Eliam Kraiem and his Mentor Project Mentor Michael Weller, at the Walter Kerr Theatre. Sixteen Wounded starred Judd Hirsch and Martha Plimpton.

honorees Edward Albee, David Henry Hwang
and John Breglio, and the Honorable Christine C. Quinn for their outstanding support of the arts in New York City and emerging playwrights. 
Festivities included Robby Benson and Karla DeVito singing from Pirates of Penzance, Dule Hill reading from Dutchman, Kelley O’Connor singing and aria from Ainadamar, and F. Murray Abraham, Judith Ivey and Elizabeth Wilson reading from American Dream.
